The Minions movie premiere was on June 27th in the U.S.
A brief summary of this long-expected blockbuster. Minions, the…well, minions of Gru in Despicable Me and its sequel. Long, long ago, even before human had ever lived on Earth, there were the Minions. And they live for one reason: to serve the evilest boss…
Every time I think of that, I personally can’t stop laughing! If you’re fan, you’ll know how…uh, “helpful” Minions are. If no, then imagine a bunch of cutesy little monsters accidentally killed their master every single time.
In my country, Vietnam, the premiere will be on July 10th. Most people will have to wait, but then there are sneak shows on the 29th and 30th of June! That’s 11 days earlier than most of the world!
Anyway, right from the start, the movie was downright hilarious. I guess every cartoon has some illogical details in it but come on, that’s the recipe for fun.
I think the artists had really focused on developing our main trio: Kevin, Stuart, and Bob. Especially Kevin, who was the leader of their quest, has to take care of the childish ( but incredibly adorable ) Bob and whatever-i-just-want-my-guitar Stuart.
My favorite scene was Herb, Scarlet Overkill ( I know, weird names! ) tried to hang this little guys but since Minions all look like bananas and don’t have necks, the hanging rope turned into their ideal swing.
Really cool movies, I’d rate it 8.5 out of 10!
